Soccer Is Back
June 26, 2021

Soccer is back in Ontario! Government of Ontario has announced competition can commence as part of Return to Play in Step 2

Lincoln Soccer continues to work in consultation with the Niagara Soccer Association, Town of Lincoln, and Public Health to prepare for Return to Play 2021.

The Government of Ontario announced on June 24, 2021 it has further updated the framework for Return to Play in the province.  This includes Step 2 of the Re-Opening Plan that will allow for outdoor team sports, which includes leagues and regular competition, with no specified limit on the number of participants or teams participating, or no need for modified rules of play, and can commence on June 30, 2021 at 12:01 a.m.

As a result, the Lincoln Soccer Club is working hard to retain volunteer coaches and finalize teams & schedules and with the goal to start the regular season by the week of July 10.  For the kids in Under 8 to 18 the WNISL committee will be reviewing team sizes and playing nights.  Our goal for the house league players is to keep the consistent playing nights, but with our late start, some accommodations may need to be made to fit the full season in.

In preparation for July 10, all players must be entered into the Ontario Soccer registration system before they can play.   This is not done until you have made payment to the Club.  If you have not made payment as of yet, please do. For any questions about registration please send your questions to admin@lincolnsoccerclub.ca

If you need to make payment you can email transfer to payments@lincolnsoccerclub.ca and add your child’s name to the memo.  More information on registration and cost here.

Note: Travel Teams playing in the NSL, the schedules will be complete soon with no guarantee on a specified playing night.

Respectfully
